RoadShow has triumphantly captured the gold award at the "HKMA/TVB Award for Marketing Excellence 2002" organised by The Hong Kong Management Association and Television Broadcasts Limited. Besides being awarded the top honour in marketing excellence, RoadShow has also won the "Citation for Innovation".

The "HKMA/TVB Award for Marketing Excellence" bestows public recognition on organisations that have, through outstanding marketing programmes, broken barriers and raised the standards of the marketing profession in Hong Kong. A total of 54 organisations from different sectors participated in the event this year, including airlines, banks, retailers, restaurants, property developers, media and entertainment companies, public utilites and government departments. "The Making of "RoadShow" came out top with two prestigious awards.

RoadShow's aim in entering the competition was to further market the concept of "Multi-media On-board" (MMOB) as a new kind of media which is creative and effective in reaching its audience.

The award represented the industry's recognition of the MMOB business and confirmed the success of RoadShow's marketing strategy including market positioning, sales channels and promotions.

RoadShow was established in December, 2000 and was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2001. RoadShow currently operates Hong Kong's largest MMOB bus service, comprising 2,600 transit vehicles and a daily viewing audience of some two million passengers.
